Description
"Nights in the Forests" encompasses over 250 open forests, both public and private, throughout France and internationally, day and night.
2026 Theme: "Listening to the Living." One minute of silence at the beginning of each activity.
In 2026, the Nights of the Forests invite everyone to listen to the forests and all that lives there, to explore the forest as a space for listening, dialogue, and resonance. “Listening to the living” is a call to slow down, to observe, to feel—to pay attention to the many voices of nature: those of the trees, the birds, the water, but also those of the humans who care for them, walk through them, or tell their stories.
Here in Occitanie at 910 Chemin de la Côte de Cazals, 82230 Léojac. Through the presence of artworks* integrated into nature, “Art on the Path” allows visitors a unique connection to the forest. The involvement, expertise, and shared passion of the participants will transport and immerse visitors in the mysteries of the fertile sources of imagination, poetry, land art, gestural and musical dialogues, the sounds of the forest, and the discovery of the extraordinary capacities of its trees and subsoil.
