The ‘Destination Excellence & Qualité Tourisme Sud de France’ brand

The Grand Montauban Tourist Office has held ‘Qualité Tourisme’ certification since 26 January 2013

Destination Excellence

The new ‘Destination of Excellence’ label aims to enhance quality across the entire spectrum of tourism provision: accommodation, catering, places of interest and leisure facilities, tourist information centres (notably tourist offices), and transport.
In addition to the focus on the quality of hospitality and services, which drives the sector, this label specifically raises the standards for environmental responsibility.

Tourism Quality

The Occitanie Sud de France Tourism Quality label is a continuous improvement scheme that enables tourism businesses to enhance their performance by optimising and developing the quality of their hospitality, service and facilities. This regional label is also recognised nationally under the Plan Qualité Tourisme: so, in a single application process, you can obtain both labels! It is awarded for a period of five years and currently has over 1,300 certified businesses across 11 tourism sectors. The scheme’s team supports you throughout these five years: preparing for certification, external audits (by mystery shoppers), improvement workshops and the provision of tools to help you improve, make progress and monitor customer satisfaction.

As part of our commitment to improvement, every piece of customer feedback (satisfaction survey, comment, complaint, thank-you message, etc.) is analysed.

  • The Tourist Office takes all your comments on board and implements corrective measures where necessary.
  • The Board of Directors (Quality Group) comprises representatives from the economic and tourism sectors of the Greater Montauban area, elected officials and the Tourist Office management. This group meets at least twice a year to discuss any issues encountered and identify areas for improvement.
