Description
A large market featuring organic producers from the Tarn-et-Garonne (82) and neighboring departments. Farmers, artisans, and associations will be there to champion organic and ecological values. The program includes talks, activities, concerts, and food vendors.
The Montauban (82) organic fair will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Cours Foucault.
This year’s theme is: "Towards a Healthy Future."
On the agenda:
- A market featuring around a hundred organic producers, eco-conscious artisans, and associations (covering food, textiles, transport, sustainable development, energy, cosmetics, etc.).
- Food and drink options: organic food vendors catering to all dietary needs, ice cream, crêpes, etc., and an association-run refreshment stand.
- Numerous talks and presentations:
* Sourdough bread and sustainable eating with Christian Remesy
* Pesticides vs. agroecology with Solagro
* Urban cycling and an interactive quiz with Montavélo
* Participatory low-tech waterway regeneration projects with the Théra-terre association.
- A variety of activities:
* Herbalism workshop with Christelle Lestrade
* Art therapy workshop with Marina Navarro
* "Pédalaterre" workshop with Gundula Hintzche
* Qi Gong demonstration with Frederic Volle
* Low-tech equipment showcase (small wind turbines, pedal-powered blender, solar oven, etc.) by the Chemin de Faire association
* Storytelling with Jean-Yves Pagès
* Donkey rides
* Wooden games
* Other activities at the stalls (Hedgehog awareness activity, endocrine disruptor workshop, among others)
- Two concerts:
