Building on last year’s success, CAUE 82 is once again offering the architectural walk organized in partnership with the Tarn-et-Garonne Departmental Archives. Free tour; registration required.

Led by an architect from CAUE 82, this tour takes you on a walk through the Cours Foucault district, home to the Departmental Archives since 1902. As you stroll, expert commentary and archival documents will help you understand the transformations this originally rural area has undergone since the 17th century. From the Cours Foucault promenade to the tobacco factory—now converted into a military base—we will observe how this gateway to the city has reinvented its architectural, urban, and landscape character over time.
