"Wendy & Peter" on the stage of the Eurythmie hall by students of the Conservatory
The Grand Montauban Conservatory invites you to a performance by its classes with flexible schedules.
The dance, music, and voice classes at the Conservatoire du Grand Montauban present "Wendy & Peter" to the public on Friday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Eurythmie Hall in Montauban.
The work is an original composition by Jean-Christophe Rome, with a libretto by François-Henri Soulié, a Montauban-based author, freely inspired by J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan.
This artistic choice allows for a nuanced and profound exploration of themes that resonate deeply with adolescence: the transition from childhood to adulthood, self-discovery, the loss of bearings, the relationship to the passage of time, and, more broadly, the question of grief—the loss of childhood, carefree days, and illusions.
The production is a partnership with Théâtretrôphone, a Montauban-based company of which author François-Henri Soulié is a member. The company also designed the set, scenery, and costumes.
