Description
To mark the 80th anniversary of the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment, the regiment will host the next edition of the "Cross du Sapeur-Para" (Sapper-Paratrooper Cross-Country Race) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Montbeton military camp.
A 7 km course featuring 30 obstacles (all optional), run in teams of 3 to 5.
Open to anyone aged 16 and up; if your team is incomplete, our combat engineers/paratroopers can fill the gaps.
No timing, no rankings: mutual aid, solidarity, and good spirits come first.
Team registration (one person registers the whole group): €90.
Voluntary donations welcome. A portion of the event proceeds will go to support wounded military personnel.
Starts are organized in 1-hour time slots, with teams setting off every 2 minutes. Please arrive at your scheduled time; your team will be called when it is time to start.
After the race, enjoy the event village featuring food and drink, as well as entertainment and displays—including military vehicles and demonstrations of the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment’s (17e RGP) specialized skills.
IMPORTANT – Please bring the following on the day:
