On 5 and 6 July 2025, Montauban is gearing up for one of its most intense sporting weekends of the year. For the 9th consecutive edition, the Triathlon de Montauban transforms the pink city into the capital of endurance, attracting hundreds of athletes who have come to challenge their limits in an exceptional setting. Since its first edition in 2015, this event has established itself as a must-attend event on the regional sporting calendar. Imagine the excitement of the cours Foucault at the first light of dawn. The wetsuits glisten in the first rays of the sun, the cars gleam in the transition park, and the excitement is palpable. This is where the magic of the Montauban Triathlon is born:a communion between athletes, spectators and heritage in a unique urban setting.

The triathlon experience in the heart of Montauban

The course winds its way through the most beautiful sites in and around the city. Swimmers plunge through the waters of the Tarn to the cheers of supporters lining the banks, while cyclists cover the miles on roads that wind through the rolling countryside of Greater Montauban. </Running, meanwhile, takes athletes back to the historic heart of the town, creating a breathtaking spectacle in which sporting performance and architectural heritage blend harmoniously.

The day closes with the XS Team Races (2pm), where the spirit of solidarity takes precedence over individual performance, creating unforgettable moments of sharing.

More than just a competition

The Montauban Triathlon carries with it a solidarity dimension that gives it a particular âmeère. Participating also means taking action: part of the registration fees is donated to the association Gorilla, which fights poaching in Africa. Every stroke of the paddle, every fathom, every stride contributes to a noble environmental cause. This philosophy is reflected in the exceptional welcome extended to participants.
