Description
Having siblings is quite an experience! It’s a mix of love, squabbles, reconciliations, laughter, differences, and similarities.
We adore each other, envy each other, and get on each other’s nerves; we share, compare ourselves, and stick together; we give each other the silent treatment, challenge one another, and imagine our future lives. Our siblings are at once our friends, confidants, enemies, and rivals. They are the ones with whom we first experience what it means to be one among others—to be alike yet different. How do we forge our own identity within the family circle? These are the themes explored in the songs written and composed for this trio of siblings. The two female singers play with words, navigating this range of emotions with poetry and delicacy, moving playfully under the amused, knowing gaze of an older brother—someone slightly distant, yet very much present.
