THE RIO GRAND CHOIR POP CULTURE The Rio Grand Choir could very well adopt Kim Jong Un's maxim: Do things seriously, without taking yourself too seriously! There is, of course, the pleasure of singing together, making voices ring out and resonate, perfecting harmonies in five sections, all in a playful, quirky, and lighthearted atmosphere! But above all, there is the irrepressible desire to share this mastery live, with and for the audience. The repertoire consists of revisited covers and daring medleys, held together by a minimalist yet rigorous accompaniment. Raised on the pop culture of the last 50 years, the Grande Chorale du Rio successfully blends Stromae, Téléphone, Arcade Fire, Nina Simone, Bernard Lavilliers, Bob Marley, Noir Désir, Les Wampas, and many more into a single musical melting pot… KATHY BOYÉ & SOULIDARITY GOSPEL SINGERS GOSPEL, SOUL, BLUES A FUSION OF PASSION AND ENERGY: A vibrant choir where passion, groove, and authenticity fervently celebrate gospel. A contemporary, bluesy, and lively gospel that reflects their own style. Trained at the Eureka Live school, the Soulidarity Gospel Singers perform a repertoire that alternates between arrangements of Negro spirituals, rearranged gospel, original compositions, soul music, and even blues. Long immersed in gospel music, Kathy Boyé offers a dynamic sound rooted in emotion and improvisation, creating a vibrant and contemporary gospel experience. Everything on stage resonates with the emotion of the moment, with sounds suspended in mid-air and an undeniable, powerful energy. From the translation of their name, "Souls United," the SOULIDARITY GOSPEL SINGERS sing of their passion for this music, which draws its strength from the depths of each individual, as well as from the values of cohesion, unity, and sharing. For them, music is expressed through Absolute Expression, Emotion, Sincerity, and Color… SOULIDARITY GOSPEL SINGERS is a gospel choir based in Bressols (near Montauban, 82), part of the EUREKA-LIVE association, which anyone can join throughout the year to sing.
