Description
A documentary that opens up dialogue about end-of-life issues, frankly and without judgment, in the presence of the director.
A documentary by Anne Lorrière. France. 1 hour 18 minutes.
Anne Lorrière decided to take up her camera to film her two sisters and their mother, all three facing the same illness: multiple sclerosis. This documentary film becomes a luminous space of love and understanding, where each sister seeks her own path while learning to accept the paths of others, culminating in their mother's intimate and ultimate decision. "Dust in Their Eyes" highlights the strength of family bonds and delicately, yet directly, explores the choice of how to end one's life.
A screening with director Anne Lorrière in attendance, co-hosted by Olivier Fournet, departmental delegate for the ADMD (Association for the Right to Die with Dignity) in Tarn-et-Garonne.
