A young bird takes to the skies. A little puppy discovers the material world. A child savors a cosmic soup. An owl struggles to sleep. A mouse wants to see the sun. And another mouse sends the stars back into the sky. Seven stories seen from Earth and from the heavens.
Programme:
- First Flight by Adrián Jaffé: Three young birds face a great challenge: their first flight! But what are these frogs doing, joining the adventure and turning the sky into a whirlwind of improvisation? This short, humorous story reminds us that nobody succeeds on their first try, and that the real joy lies in discovery.
- The Owl Who Wanted to Sleep by Ruslan Synkevich: Day breaks, and it is time for the little owl to settle into a well-deserved sleep. But this is also the moment when the forest and all its inhabitants wake up to start their day. How can everyone coexist while following their own rhythm?
- Star Soup by Cho Su-a, Nam Seung-min, Cheon Ye-rim and Ju Seo-eun: Only a child’s fertile imagination could create a connection between a steaming bowl of soup and the universe of planets…
- Rainy Day by Park Saeyeon: Under the rain, another world comes to life, with its own rules, colors and sounds.
- Tatarang’s Little World by Kim Manri: Tatarang is a little dog who wanders innocently wherever the wind takes him. Along the way, he meets other animals, forms friendships, discovers their way of life, and marvels at the wonders of nature.
- Star Saviours by Maria Rumyantseva: When the stars fall from the sky, a little mouse becomes worried. She decides to rescue them and send them back to light up the sky. Meeting a big Bear teaches her how to dry the stars over a campfire so that they can shine again and fly back up, restoring the brilliance of the starry sky.
- Wings for a Friend by Mikhail Aldashin: A mouse meets a bat, and their encounter makes them realize that the way we see the world depends on our point of view. The little mouse is then determined to do whatever it takes to gain altitude and discover new perspectives.
The screening will be followed by a creative workshop, and then by a snack provided by La Mie Câline.
