Description
La Fabrique du Jazz
Celebrating the legacy of Hugues Panassié—a renowned jazz critic who settled in Montauban in the 1940s—La Fabrique du Jazz looks back at the origins of jazz while embracing the cross-genre fusions of today’s music scene.
From September 24 to 26, 2026, Montauban tunes in to *La Fabrique du Jazz*!
For this 8th edition, the festival brings together concerts, a musical procession, an exhibition, and musical lunches across several of the city's iconic venues: the Olympe de Gouges Theatre, the theatre forecourt, the courtyard of the Ingres Bourdelle Museum, and the streets of the city center.
From Django Reinhardt to Stéphane Grappelli, from Monk to Piazzolla, each generation of artists adds its voice to a musical conversation that began over a century ago.
Three days of encounters, discoveries, and shared improvisations—catering to all audiences and tastes.
