Farmers’ market (Saturday morning): this is THE not-to-be-missed event of the Montalban weekend! Over 190 local producers set up shop in the heart of town, creating a veritable feast for the senses. Stroll between the colorful stalls where seasonal fruits and vegetables, farmhouse cheeses, artisanal honeys, traditional charcuterie and natural sourdough breads await you. Talk to our passionate producers, who will be happy to share their trade secrets and tasting tips.

Take advantage of the market to put together a picnic basket with the kids. It’s the ideal time to introduce them to local produce, inviting them to talk to producers about the origins of the food. Alternatively, opt for a gourmet breakfast at the Salon de Thé Pâtisserie Alexandres, where children will be charmed by the artisanal viennoiseries.
Turn your visit to the market into a culinary treasure hunt, selecting products to compose a tasting platter that you can enjoy later. After this gourmet stroll, opt for a moment of relaxation on the Place Nationale, with its breathtaking view of historic facades.
Every Saturday, take the shuttle bus from the Eurythmie parking lot to the Esplanade des Fontaines to discover one of the region’s most beautiful markets (ticket price: €0.60 return). Alternatively, here are our parking tips.
Then join the majestic Place Nationale for a coffee break. This architectural masterpiece, with its double arcades and pink bricks, is the perfect setting for an espresso or hot chocolate. Café Les Arcades, L’Agora or Le Temple Bar welcome you with their terraces, ideally placed for observing Montalban’s awakening life.
