A new fresco by 100Taur in the Villebourbon district
For his third work in homage to the famous painter Montalbanais Ingres, the artist 100Taur has decided to revisit the painting "Oedipus explains the enigma of the sphinx" from 1808.
This painting evokes the scene of the Sphinx in Greek mythology, which is sent by Zeus to punish the city of Thebes. A riddle is asked and each incorrect answer automatically results in the death of the participant. Only Oedipus manages to answer the riddle "What is the animal that walks in the morning on four legs, at noon on two legs and in the evening on three legs?"
To admire this fresco as a whole, enjoy a good meal on the terrace of the restaurant L'Estanquet.
