DAVID WALTERS > Present on the French scene since the early 2000s, David Walters has given birth to an astonishing repertoire imbued with electronic beats and acoustic folk with Afro-Caribbean influences. Singer, multi-instrumentalist, child of the Caribbean and great traveler, he takes us on a colorful journey where only he knows the final destination.
With his collaborative creativity, he has become a master in the art of building bridges across seas, primarily that of the Caribbean. It sublimates this link, this filiation between the music of the Caribbean and the music of the present time. In “Soul Tropical”, his aptly named latest album, a mixture of soul, funk, hip-hop sounds, house, forms the subtle blend of a joyful invitation to dance, celebrate and sing.
