History of the garden

The Laroque garden is the work of a former landscape gardener from Tarn-et-Garonne. After retiring, he plunged passionately into shaping the garden, which initially consisted of ploughed fields and farm buildings. The landscape was transformed into a harmonious garden, which joined the exclusive club of“Jardins remarquables” in 2019. This well-deserved label recognizes a site that combines aesthetics, originality and well-being.

Did you know?

The original purpose of this 2-hectare ornamental garden was to provide food. The design of the Laroque garden is inspired by Feng Shui, an age-old art of Chinese origin, aimed at harmonizing the environmental energy of a place, so as to promote the health, well-being and prosperity of its visitors.

Opening hours

The Laroque garden can be visited from mid-April to the end of October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 7pm. Other days by appointment.
