Every year, European Museum Night is a not-to-be-missed cultural event in France. In Montauban, this national event transforms museums intoimmersive night-time experiences, combining guided tours, concerts, artistic workshops, cultural mediation and family activities.

Enjoy a free cultural evening in the Tarn-et-Garonne and discover Montauban’s artistic and scientific heritage in a whole new way, at the heart of the city’s emblematic sites.

At the Ingres Bourdelle Museum

To mark European Museum Night 2026, the Musée Ingres Bourdelle (MIB) and the CIAP are offering an exceptional evening programme of cultural activities in the heart of one of the finest museums in the Occitanie region.

Music

Cours Toujours" musical duet

Two multi-instrumentalist singers bring you a festive and eclectic atmosphere:

Two lively accordions
A swing guitar
A twirling transverse flute
A jazzy trumpet

Aline Deforge: vocals, accordion, flute, bassophone.
Emmanuel Presselin: vocals, guitar, trumpet, baritone tuba, bayan.

A convivial musical experience to liven up your cultural evening in Montauban.

Plastic arts

Monotype workshop with Françoise Soto

Take part in a participatory art workshopon monotype, a non-engraving printing technique that produces a single print.

Typographic inks, oil paint or gouache on a non-porous support: try out this creative process inopen workshops throughout the evening.

An immersive experience, ideal for discovering the visual arts in Montauban.

Drawing area

A creative area is available with pencils, paper and other materials.

Take inspiration from the works of the sculptor Bourdelle and let your imagination run free for an artistic family evening.
