Description
See you on July 4th and 5th for the Triathlon
An Olympic sport since 2000, triathlon offers a variety of formats adapted to both casual participants and seasoned athletes.
In Montauban, since 2015, the event has established itself as a key fixture in the city's sporting calendar. Designed to combine sport and a festive atmosphere, the Montauban Triathlon offers a challenge suitable for children as young as 6, as well as adults looking to push their limits. With its children's race, corporate challenge, and various distances, the Montauban Triathlon is open to everyone. Starting from the village on Cours Foucault, the races, spread over a weekend, attract numerous athletes and spectators each year.
The highlight of the event, the L format (3000m swim, 80km bike, 20km run), remains reserved for the most ambitious. Registration is open but limited.
Participating in the Montauban Triathlon is also a way to support a good cause. A portion of the registration fees is donated to the Gorilla Foundation, which fights poaching in Africa.
