Montauban Beach Event

(20, 21 and 22 June – 10am to 9pm)

Three days of pure intensity where the best international players meet on the Port Canal courts. The exchanges fly, the smashes snap, and the public vibrates to the rhythm of this spectacular discipline which mixes tennis and volleyball in an explosive cocktail of adrenaline.

A beach volleyball is a sport that has become emblematic of our beaches. Teams battle it out in fierce duels where technique, tactics and physical fitness come together to the cheers of a passionate audience. Every point becomes a spectacle in its own right.

From 9am until midnight (June 11 to July 6)

Port Canal becomes a veritable sand sports village. The refreshment stands come alive and a musical programme accompanies the compétitions to create a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

The adventure doesn’t stop with the end of the official programme. The pitches remain accessible throughout the summer on reservation, allowing enthusiasts to extend the experience and nymphs to cover these sports in an idyllic setting. Port Canal then returns to its usual quietness, but retains that summer feel that makes this a must-see spot for outdoor sports enthusiasts. <Sunsets over the Tarn, set against a backdrop of fine sand, offer magical moments that only Greater Montauban knows how to create.
