Official launch of the Lucioles 2026
For this 5th edition of the Lucioles, Montauban kicks off its summer festivities on Thursday, July 2nd from 8:00 pm, at Place Roosevelt, on the occasion of the first night market of the season.
As every Thursday throughout the summer, Place Roosevelt transforms into a festive and gourmet space: large communal tables, stalls featuring local producers and artisans, musical entertainment… A friendly and relaxed atmosphere to share a moment of leisure outdoors. To celebrate the launch of Les Lucioles, exhibitors will offer a complimentary drink to visitors.
And to close this inaugural evening in style, join us at 11 p.m. for the exceptional unveiling of the projection mapping on the cathedral façade. A luminous spectacle that will illuminate the heart of the city for the first time this season.

Les Lucioles
Les Lucioles is Montauban's big summer event! Every summer for the past five years, the event has transformed the city into a festive and luminous space: projection mapping on the facades of iconic buildings, night markets, open-air cinema, summer opera, concerts, children's activities, and a fireworks display on July 14th. From July 2nd to August 30th, the nights of Montauban light up for everyone's enjoyment.
