Obstinates - By the Grasparossa Company, Exhibition presented by the Museum of the Resistance and the Combatant
This project, conceived by the Grasparossa Company, originated from documentary research conducted in southern Italy, following in the footsteps of Lucia Pisapia Apicella who, at the end of World War II, defied oblivion by searching for the bodies of missing soldiers, regardless of nationality. This exhibition highlights the journeys of these remarkable women and their unwavering determination. It will bring together materials from the research, creation, and outreach activities of the "Obstinées" (Unwavering Women) project. It is a diptych combining photography, video, and visual art, created by visual artist Chiara Scarpone and photographer and video artist Jo Tempié. Their artistic dialogue will forge connections between image, material, and narrative. The exhibition will offer an immersive, coherent, and profoundly human experience.
