31 Degres Soapery

Loriane decided to start renovating her grandfather’s old car garage to create a traditional soap factory. The place she has known since birth was once the village grocery shop, before her grandfather became the village mechanic for over 40 years. So it was in a place steeped in history that the designer decided to set up her workshop in order to keep the craft alive. She draws her inspiration from her native land to identify her soaps, each of which has an Occitan name. As you’ll have gathered, it’s our dialect, our terroir and our heritage that guide the 31 degrés soap factory. For your well-being: She makes soaps using local products: sunflower oil from the village, honey from the neighbouring beekeeper, hand-picked, home-made nettle powder, etc.
