In a snowy village, little Lucie falls seriously ill. A she-wolf prowling near the houses has cast a spell on her. In exchange for Lucie's recovery, she demands her daughter, whom a villager stole from her. Otherwise, Lucie will die. But how can she return this little she-wolf, who is already nothing more than a wolf's skin hanging on the wall? Romane, the village orphan, decides to counter the curse. Donning the wolf's skin, she decides to pretend to be the she-wolf. But the more she tries to pass herself off as her daughter, the more Romane becomes fascinated by the majestic she-wolf...
