In a large forest, live a poor lumberjack and a poor lumberjack's wife, both longing for a child. Nearby, a railway line where trains pass regularly...
Organized by the "Pas Sans Toit" association.

All around, the Second World War. The story of the small merchandise immerses the viewer in a world that seems surreal but which nevertheless existed, at a time when humanity was experiencing a period of agony. Through this tale, Jean-Claude Grumberg combines the unthinkable, the unimaginable, and the marvelous. This work, whose humor draws on rage and a sense of the absurd, is populated by children deprived of their parents. This magnificent love story moves us because the author combines beauty and poetry, poetry concentrated in this title where a child becomes "The Most Precious of Merchandise."

/ Based on the tale by Jean-Claude Grumberg / Directed and performed by Anthony Le Foll / Music by Brunoi Zarn
