The private project manager, Mrs. Raymond Madisson, a childcare professional, sought to construct a building in line with contemporary thinking. The challenge was to answer the following question: How can the children's space be made as comfortable as possible from a thermal and acoustic perspective, while consuming little energy and using bio-sourced materials? Straw was chosen as the most suitable material for the project's success.
