On the occasion of the Harvest Festival, we are organizing a painting competition to mark the event and to create the label for the future Primeur vintage from a work created that day.
The Fermes en Fête association and the Domaine de Montels are celebrating the grape harvest by organizing a day-long event centered around the world of wine, culminating in a traditional grape picking and pressing.
Program
The artwork must be created using oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, or drawing. Each participant must bring their own materials.
The materials used and the medium used are entirely up to each participant, as is the style (figurative, abstract, still life, etc.).
Each participant must present their canvas or blank sheet of paper on the day of the competition. A maximum of two media will be selected, and two will be exhibited. The artists will set up their work at a location of their choice in the vineyard.
The jury, selected by the estate, will elect the winners starting at 5:00 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. This year, the theme of the harvest festival is "ROSE THERAPY," the new cuvée from Domaine de Montels—a fresh and fruity drink, ideal for enjoying summer in a light way. Made with wine and gourmet aromas, this original cuvée embodies the spirit of conviviality and relaxation.

The overall theme is the harvest, but each participant's creation is free and can focus solely on one component of the harvest (for example, grapes or wine).
A single focus, whether it be a lively or joyful creation, reflects the festive spirit of the harvest.
Awards:
First Prize: Reproduction of the work to create a label for the 2024 Primeur and "Person's Weight in Wine."
Second Prize: A voucher worth €150 for a stay or tourist activity in Tarn-et-Garonne. 3rd Prize: Case of 6 bottles of Privilège wines from Vignobles Romain.
