An edition that goes up to 5,000 runners! The Montauban Marathon returns and reaches a major milestone: the maximum capacity increases to 5,000 runners, confirming the scale and attractiveness of an event that is now essential at the national level.
In 2025, 4,500 participants took part, a record since the event's inception. In 2026, the organizers are opening 500 additional bibs, allowing even more runners to experience this great sporting celebration in the heart of a city designated as an "Active and Sporting City."
A 100% urban course in the heart of the city of Ingres
True to its reputation, the Montauban Marathon will offer an urban course, consisting of two loops on a virtually flat route. The start and finish lines will be located on Sunday morning on the Cours Foucault promenade.
Registration opens on Monday, December 8.
An edition dedicated to solidarity
For this 2026 edition, €1 per registration will be donated to the Philia association, created in 2023. The association works to provide opportunities for sharing and play for children with disabilities or from isolated or disadvantaged families. A simple gesture that gives even more meaning to the effort!
