Born in 1868 in Lamothe-Capdeville, Captain Pierre-Alfred Nougarède was involved in the first battles on the Chemin des Dames in September 1914. In his "campaign block," he sketched the war to preserve its memory. These notebooks, preserved by the Cultural Heritage Center, were published by the CRID 14-18 at the end of 2024.
