TI FOL, DAUGHTER OF THE VOLCANO
by Blaise & Compagnie
In Martinique, at the very beginning of the last century, Pascaline, nicknamed Ti Fol, senses the wrath of Mount Pelée. She alone hears the volcano's signs,
but no one listens to her. Nearby, Louis-Auguste Cyparis, raised in a religious orphanage and victim of the whims of a family of planters, dreams of freedom. Between rebellion and survival, will he escape the lava flows? Literature, music, and live drawings combine to carry this story, adapted from a novel by Raphaële Frier (École des loisirs, 2024), between contemporary questions and Creole culture.
