2 rue Gillaque is an 18th century building retaining some beautiful older remains, notably a 15th century turret and a 17th century gallery.
Many Montalbanais know it for the enigmatic head which adorns one of the angles and which seems to cry out. The town wanted to keep the room on the ground floor and baptized it the House of the town crier.
