Voice and Virtue: English Choral Masterpieces from Thomas Tallis to Herbert Howells - Join All Saints Choir of Fulham, London, for an evening of captivating English choral music in the beautiful setting of St-Jacques, Montauban.
The program spans four centuries of beloved choral works, from William Byrd's famous Five-Part Mass to new works by emerging composers.
All Saints Choir of Fulham is an Anglican church choir of 25 singers. It performs a wide range of music, from well-known cathedral repertoire to more unusual works—from landmark South American Baroque works to South African choral dances, and new commissions from contemporary composers. In addition to its regular service program, the choir regularly tours cathedrals across the UK (in recent years York, Salisbury, Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Wells, Truro, and St David's) and has sung for several broadcasts, including live on BBC1 for the Christmas Day Eucharist and live on Radio 4 for the Palm Sunday program "Sunday Worship."
Admission is free.
