Ibrahim Maalouf returns with a bang with his 17th album. The T.O.M.A. project, an acronym for "Trumpets of Michelangelo," is a grand musical adventure bringing together 10 musicians on stage. An intergenerational concert that transports us to a world where folklore and modernity are one. As usual, the renowned trumpeter takes on the challenge of creating music that is both demanding and accessible to all. With T.O.M.A., Ibrahim Maalouf lays the foundation stone of an ambitious life project, blending instrument making, French cultural exceptionalism, pedagogy, music, celebration, and the ever-present desire to bring us together around shared values.

The students of the Trumpet class at the Montauban Conservatory have been working for months on scores proposed by Maestro Ibrahim Maalouf himself. During the Montauban concert, these budding trumpeters will be invited to come on stage to share a piece with Ibrahim Maalouf and his musicians.
