In the depths of Texas, some locals make a gruesome discovery: their cemetery has just been desecrated and the corpses displayed as trophies. Meanwhile, five friends are traveling through the region in a minibus. Along the way, they encounter a hitchhiker and decide to give him a lift. But when the young people realize that the individual is behaving in a disturbing and threatening way, they end up getting rid of him. Soon running out of gas, the group decides to visit an old abandoned house belonging to the grandparents of two of them. Each in turn, the five friends are drawn to the neighboring house.
