For 30 years, an original and unique concept. Join us on Saturday, November 8th at noon after the traditional auction for the official presentation of the program.
Founded in 1991 by Maurice Petit, and conceived and organized by the Confluences Association since then, the Lettres d’Automne literary festival takes place annually at the end of November in Montauban and the Tarn-et-Garonne region.
For two weeks, a program open to all audiences showcases, listens to, and shares the literary work and artistic world of a guest writer of honor. This guest chooses a theme as the central theme of the program and is surrounded by numerous artists whose work resonates with their own, or whose work they wish to share with the public.
The program, held in various venues throughout the city and the department, includes: meetings, staged readings, performances, literary concerts, exhibitions, workshops, a festival bookstore, bridges between literature and various artistic disciplines (cinema, sculpture, dance, etc.), a program centered around children's books for schools and families, and more.
