The 9th RSAM invites you to come and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Vergnes district at the Morin-Védrines aerodrome in Montauban.
This anniversary provides a unique opportunity to present to the public the key moments that shaped this neighborhood and to highlight its units, from the 9th Airmobile Support Regiment (9e RSAM) to the 3rd Equipment Regiment's detachment (3e RMAT), as well as the technical expertise units (SETMPL and ETIAH).
The program includes exhibitions of Army aircraft (old and new generation), 16 interactive workshops (discover the professions of the neighborhood's specialists: helicopter pilot, aircraft maintenance technician, dog handler, 3D printing specialist, parachute packaging specialist, etc.), numerous food trucks (including the largest in France), and aerial demonstrations (based on a staged operational mission involving four helicopters, the dropping of paratroopers from a PC6, and the deployment of commandos by rope).
This anniversary is intended to be a real moment of sharing, discovery and conviviality, it is therefore open to all and free.
