As every year, the streets of the heart of the City will be topped with a “roof” of pink umbrellas suspended throughout the month of October to raise awareness of breast cancer. The illuminated buildings of the City will also be adorned with pink.

For its part, the Memo will offer a day around the early detection of breast cancer on Saturday 23 October from 10 am to 6 pm: a “health café” is organized throughout the day and at 3 pm, the screening of the documentary Personn’elles by Valérie-Anne Moniot will be followed by a debate in the presence of the director. Stéphan Giner’s photographic exhibition will also be on view from Tuesday 5 to Saturday 30 October.
The Montauban Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, October 17, will also raise awareness of breast cancer screening since all participants will be provided with bracelets and pink scarves to support the cause. The traditional nature walk will be organized for the benefit of the League against Cancer and the Cancer Screening Coordination Center (CRCDC) will finally have a stand during the weekend of the Marathon.
