Exhibition "Jacques Gunaud, puppeteer, painter" Exhibition of paintings and puppets by Jacques Gunaud (1928-2014) "Hitler-la-mort" and "Mussoli-ni-le-Cochon". These were the names of the two puppets that the young Jacques Gunaud carried in the saddlebags of his bicycle from the time of the Nazi occupation. Throughout his life he remained this "rebellious man" against the injustices and ugliness of the world, without ever departing from a deep tenderness for humanity and an unwavering love for life. The puppets he created bear witness to this, as do his paintings imbued with humor and humble poetry. His friendships with his peers - Alain Mounié, Manuel Lizano, Marc Dautry or Flavio de Faver - were the occasion for fruitful and passionate exchanges. Without ever adopting the posture of the "Master", he was however an initiator and a generous guide for a whole generation of budding artists, painters, draftsmen and visual artists of all stripes. Free admission. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
