A village in the city, a creative hot spot bringing together shops, flea markets, farmers' market, restaurants and events.
The Halle de la Gare Routière is a compendium of creative initiatives that invites a new art of living. To share moments with family and friends, a place of life and desires.
Installed in the old covered market on place Lalaque, the Halle de la Gare Routière invites you to a new art of living for a gourmet moment.

The Embarcadère in a few dates
    > 1933: design by the city architect, Marcel Renard, of a vessel 27m long and 13m wide, with stepped roof reminiscent of the Mouche slaughterhouse in Lyon (Tony Garnier). The architecture is emblematic of the post-flood reconstruction of 1930. Realization of the project in reinforced concrete by the Montalban-based company J. Allègre.
    > April 20, 1935: inauguration of the covered market in Villebourbon. Inside, we sell meat and fish.Outside, there are stands dedicated to gardening, fruits, vegetables, poultry ...
    > 1967: the bus station, established nearby, sets up offices, waiting room, hall and toilets.
    > End of the 90s: the “Noah's Ark” theater company occupies the premises which takes the name of Embarcadère.
    > 2001: the site welcomes the IUP Plastic Art then the association La Boite à Malice (circus).
    > 2005: registration as a Historic Monument and 20th century Heritage labeling.
