Village of Albefeuille Lagarde

Historic site and monument ,  Town, village, neighbourhood at Albefeuille-Lagarde
  • Albefeuille Lagarde owes its name to the parish which has two churches: Albefeuille and Lagarde.

Long divided between these two villages, Lagarde received the parish title and prospered until the beginning of the 20th century.
But Lagarde was destroyed by the floods of the Tarn in 1930. The village was rebuilt mainly thanks to donations made by Holland.

Some of its buildings were awarded the "20th Century Heritage" label in 2016
