Tradition has it that he honors Ishtar, goddess of life and fertility. But this one is struck by an evil which seems incurable, giving it the repulsive aspect of a giant snake. Yet the Prince insists on honoring the tradition. He turns out to be cruelly insatiable, he wants more, always more. Until his meeting with the modest and humble slave named Tahirih ...
