Georges Rousse, space as a support The Black Prince room located in the basement of the institution has opened up since the renovation of the museum to installations by contemporary artists. After Miguel Chevalier, it was Georges Rousse who took over the premises to offer visitors a unique work. Bricks, pilasters and vaults of the impressive medieval room are transformed into a contemporary pictorial space, only constructed from a single point of view, that of the artist during his creation. Each visitor by moving in the room will seek this focal point and will then place, during a vision, his gaze in that of the artist. In order to make the creative path of Georges Rousse understandable, several preparatory sketches will also be presented around the large photographic print produced by Georges Rousse which reshapes the three-dimensional vision of space. >>> PRACTICAL INFORMATION: The Ingres Bourdelle museum is closed until further notice Entrance fee Open every day except Monday, from 10 am to 7 pm; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Exceptional closing on 01.01, 01.05, 01.11 and 25.12
