This traveling exhibition takes visitors, young and old, to every continent to discover the wonderful world of percussion. A fabulous treasure trove of percussion from around the world that reveals their secrets, revealing the richness of their sounds, colors, shapes, mysteries and history. The visual and sound presentation gives to see and hear percussions of all sizes, of all shapes, wood, metal or skin, that man interjects, shakes, or rubs, since the dawn of time in all civilizations. Gerard Grimal. Born in 1963, this Lot musician is passionate very early for percussion and jazz, world music. He is moving towards the teaching of percussion and regularly intervenes at the request of ADDA du Lot and many structures in France for different projects. He toured renowned artists (Marcel Zanini, Philippe Labrousse, Bernard Larat ...) and participated in several groups (Savobossa, Carré-jazz, Trio swing, Marc Perez quartet, Rapsody trio), as well as many creations ... which leads him to create a show "The Red Square and the nights of Moscow". A great collector of percussion from five continents, Gérard Grimal was able to gather a collection of 400 instruments, which he proposes as a traveling exhibition.
