A VERY DESIRED SITE. Extended until April 25, 2021 Conceived by the Center for Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage (CIAP) during the closure for works of the Ingres Bourdelle museum and readapted today to the new spaces of the renovated building, this exhibition invites you to a time travel. The elements presented reveal the history of the building from the founding of the city in 1144 to the present day. Tracing the history of the place also means meeting some of the emblematic characters in the history of the city, such as Alphonse Jourdain, the founding count, Edouard Plantagenêt, the Black Prince, Bishop Pierre de Berthier, or the baron Pierre Joseph Vialètes de Mortarieu. Relive nearly nine centuries of turbulent history and brick architecture.
