Pink Oddity brings together two legendary worlds: David Bowie and Pink Floyd. Six musicians and a female vocalist revisit cult classics and lesser-known gems in a rock journey that is both atmospheric and spellbinding.
On Saturday, October 17, L’Acoustic hosts Pink Oddity, a six-piece band from Toulouse united by a unique concept: bringing the musical worlds of David Bowie and Pink Floyd together on the same stage.
Formed in 2021, Pink Oddity was born from a desire to combine two very different bodies of work that, over the course of the show, prove to be surprisingly complementary.
Fronted by a female vocalist and backed by five musicians, the band delivers a concert lasting nearly two and a half hours, alternating between rock tracks, atmospheric soundscapes, and more spellbinding or hypnotic passages.
On the Pink Floyd side, the journey spans iconic albums such as *The Dark Side of the Moon*, *The Wall*, and *Wish You Were Here*.
As for David Bowie, Pink Oddity explores various eras and personas of his career through tracks like "Space Oddity," "The Man Who Sold the World," "Ziggy Stardust," "Life on Mars?," "Ashes to Ashes," and "Lazarus."
The band goes beyond the greatest hits, mixing cult classics with lesser-known tracks to offer audiences a chance to discover—or rediscover—these two repertoires through Pink Oddity’s own unique style.
