Humor, derision and feigned indifference characterize the relationship that Picabia had with Ingres. If we know that the master of Montauban is one of the constant references of the one who nevertheless said that he did not want to go "to seek in museums what the curators have buried there", the way in which the Montalbanais appears in the work Picabia's graph is a little less well known.
The exhibition organized by the Ingres Bourdelle Museum with a number of museum institutions and private collections, gives a special place to the graphic creation of these two artists, without neglecting their pictorial work.
