Pink October - Program

Like every year in October, Grand Montauban supports the national information and awareness campaign on breast and cervical cancer, Pink October.

While buildings in the town of Montauban are adorned with pink during the month of October – notably the Town Hall – many events are on the program for this 2024 edition for the national information and awareness campaign on cancers of the breast and cervix.
Among the Montalban events to note in your calendar throughout the month of October, find in particular:

• On October 1st, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., don’t hesitate to come to the Espace Perbosc for a promotional screening operation.

• On October 4 at 4:30 p.m. in the village hall of the Montauban racecourse, the Maison de Santé and its partners invite the public to a conference – sharing of experiences around female cancers, followed at 6:15 p.m. by a Zumba class .

• The Montauban Football Club will put this cause in the spotlight during the match on Sunday October 6 at 3 p.m. against Lyon.

• On October 11 from 2:30 p.m., there will be a walking parade that members of the social centers will carry out from the square in front of the Olympe de Gouges theater to the La Comète social center

• On October 12, at the open-air market in Montauban, an information stand will be held by the Aide à domicile en milieu rural (ADMR) network and Solid’Az

• Also note on Sunday October 13, activities from the 3 Rivières Pagaies association from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Port Canal. Another highlight: the screening of Angèle Marrey’s film, “Bless our breasts”, on October 18 at 7 p.m. at the Auditorium de la Mémo.

• While the traditional solidarity walk organized by Montauban Athlétisme in collaboration with the City will leave from the Palais Jacques-Chirac on Sunday October 20 at 9:30 a.m., a relay race will also be offered on the athletics track. High point of the events.
