What if drama no longer rhymed with lady at the Opera?
Théophile Alexandre presents a counter-current show, combining the beauty of lyrical singing and a new look at opera. In dialogue with Zaïde, a talented female string quartet, he reverses the roles and revisits the great arias of divas, from Carmen to Violetta, via Eurydice, Juliette or the Queen of the Night. A humanist lyrical manifesto and a feminist reinterpretation of these timeless works, which have been applauded without reserve for hundreds of years!
