Literary meeting with Valentine Goby

Come and meet Valentine Goby about her latest book, L'Île haute, a magnificent coming-of-age novel that highlights the mountains and the dazzling moments of childhood.

Valentine Goby was born in Grasse in 1974. After studying at Sciences Po, she lived for three years in Asia, in Hanoi and Manila, where she worked in humanitarian associations helping street children. Back in France, she embraced a career as a teacher.

Today, she devotes herself fully to writing, addressing both adults and young people. His enthusiasm for history and his commitment to transmission make memory his privileged area of exploration. She likes to offer literary concerts around her novels published by Actes sud.
