Lettres d'automne: Extinct cities

From 2010 to 2012, Thierry Cohen worked on a series of photographs that reinvent the urban landscapes of the largest megacities – Paris, Tokyo and New York, in particular – without the light pollution that characterizes them. Maylis de Kerangal wrote a text around this striking work of fiction which allows us to “reestablish the night above the cities, and with it the black, the silence, the cosmic embrace […] these stars that they have lost. ". The discovery of Thierry Cohen's images, the reading of his text by Maylis de Kerangal, then the exchange between the two artists will close these fifteen days of festival during which we will not cease to question the poetic and political dimensions of " landscape ".
