Four frenzied dancers transform the stage into a playful and twirling Noah's Ark

The play is funny, but it questions our destiny. With legend, his fourth creation in the thought of youth and the family, Michel Kelemenis talks to us about animals. The play is funny, but it questions our destiny. With legend, his fourth creation in the thought of youth and the family, Michel Kelemenis talks to us about animals. Or more precisely, he imagines a world where animals no longer exist, where only humans have survived the extinction of species. But the fauna comes back to taunt them in a wacky and burlesque way, as if to ask them with whom they now plan to have fun. This facetious dream of a bestiary between dance, mime, clowning and acrobatics bounces off two musical universes with eclectic accents, The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns and electro compositions by Angelo Liaros Copola. This act of reflection is led drum beating by four dancers with intense expression, down to the smallest detail of gaze and gesture, from the gallop of the kangaroos to the death of the swan.
Founder and director of KLAP Maison pour la Danse in Marseille, Michel Kelemenis engages his creations around hot topics that shape the news and impact the future of our societies.
